Tell me all about the space. The 450 SF studio offers plenty of light through three windows. The large kitchen features a full-sized gas range, stainless steel mini-fridge, sink, and all of the pots, sharp knives, cutting boards, you'll need. When our chickens are laying, we're happy to share fresh eggs. The queen-sized bed is on the firmer side with a down duvet cover and different types of pillows for different types of sleepers. There are reading lamps on either side of the bed. The couch folds out into a basic queen size sleeper sofa in case you need to sleep an extra person or two. There is a wall mounted 32" flat screen television with Roku (that means unlimited Netflix, HBO Go, Showtime Anytime, and Hulu!). In the bathroom, there is a shower and lots of storage. A shared washing machine and dryer are located steps from your unit and are free for you to use for a load or two.

How do I get around?TRANSIT: We are located a seven minute walk from the Yellow line MAX, and it takes about 25 minutes to get to downtown Portland with no transfers. We are also close to other bus lines that go to St. Johns, Mississippi, Alberta, and elsewhere. Emily (the lady of the house) takes transit all the time, so she can help you out with any questions or the best apps to track transit times. BIKE: We are located on a bike boulevard and it takes about 30 minutes to bike downtown. We have some local bike rental shops we can point you to. WALK: Our neighborhood is very walkable. Let us point you in the right direction! DRIVE: We are located close to the I-5 ramps and we have ample street parking.

What's your neighborhood like?Kenton is a historic and happening neighborhood with very loyal and friendly residents. We are a five minute walk to Downtown Kenton which features three coffee shops (Posie's, Presso, and Prince<--our fave), three bars, several haircutting places (for some reason), library, post office, Paleo restaurant, pizza joint, awesome re-sale shop, antique stores, and more. If you walk seven minutes in the other direction, you come to our light rail station and a huge Fred Meyer, where you can buy pretty much anything.

What are you guys like?We are a busy couple who work full time and in our free time, we like to garden, climb, see movies, and go out to eat. We have a three year old dog (Barlow) and a cat (Dora) who do not have access to the basement. We keep the pets in their places when guests are in the apartment, but you will hear some footfalls and dog paws during normal waking hours. If you are sensitive to footfalls between the hours of 6am-10pm (weekdays) and 8am-11pm (weekends), this may not be the place for you.

Can I bring my dog?We have hosted dogs in the past, and would be willing to work with you to accomodate your dog with a conversation and extra cleaning fee. We want to know more about your plan for the dog when you are away from the apartment - a crate? You'll never leave the dog alone? The dog doesn't bark, scratch, or climb on furniture?
